Project Byron
This single-family home is undergoing a complete renovation to bring it back to life. Our team is transforming outdated spaces into a modern, functional, and welcoming property with upgraded finishes, improved efficiency, and a refreshed layout.
Project Byron reflects our vision of turning undervalued houses into quality homes that add value to the community and create strong investment potential. The work is already underway — from demolition and mold remediation to new drywall, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, and modern finishes. Exterior upgrades and updated systems will ensure the home is safe, efficient, and move-in ready.
Stay tuned as we share updates on this transformation, step by step!
Project Trent St
Our team was called in to fix what was supposed to be a simple leak in an apartment, but once we arrived, we discovered black mold climbing up the wall behind the toilet — a clear sign that the issue was much bigger.
As we opened the floor and drywall, we found a soaked subfloor and a tub drain that had been leaking for quite some time. With the extent of the damage revealed, we went all in on a full gut and rebuild, completing the work in just six days so the landlord could have the unit ready to rent without any delays.
Project Mavaarik
Two families joined forces to create a unique family resort on nearly 10 acres of land in the heart of Québec. The vision: a collection of cozy tiny cabins designed for short-term rentals, blending comfort with nature.
In just four weeks, the first two cabins were built from the ground up to a liveable state — a true testament to teamwork and dedication. These cabins offer the full off-grid living experience, powered by solar generators, supplied by a well, and supported by sealed septic systems. Despite being deep in the woods, they include all the essential comforts to enjoy a true getaway.
Located just 45 minutes south of Highway 20, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Québec City, and only 10 minutes from the U.S. border, the resort sits beside major ATV and snowmobile trails and a calm river. Plus, a beautiful ski hill is only an hour away, making it an ideal year-round destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking both adventure and tranquillity.
Construction is still underway, with final touches expected in the coming weeks. Stay tuned as Project Mavaarik grows into a welcoming retreat where families and travellers can enjoy the beauty of La Belle Province.
Our Family Project
A Work in Progress
When we first visited the house, we immediately saw the potential. Even though it still looked like something out of the 1960s, with no major upgrades, we knew it could become a wonderful place to raise our children.
We moved in with three kids under the age of five, balancing family life, full-time work, and renovations squeezed into evenings and weekends. It hasn’t been easy, but little by little, the house has undergone a complete transformation.
Six years later, the work is still ongoing, but the home has already become a warm, functional, and welcoming space — the perfect environment for our children to grow up in.
When we moved in, the kitchen still had its original 1960s cabinets, and although it wasn’t our first priority, within a week we realized we couldn’t live with it. We shifted our focus and took on the kitchen, a long and intense project made even more challenging with kids at home and meals to prepare, but in the end the transformation gave us a modern, functional space that became the heart of our home and made us truly proud.
After tackling the kitchen, we turned our attention to the bathrooms, both upstairs and in the basement, as well as adding much-needed storage downstairs. We also moved and enclosed the laundry room to give the basement a cleaner, more organized look. Although the basement isn’t completely finished yet, we’re proud of the work accomplished and how much more functional and welcoming the space has become.
With three kids in a small house, we needed extra storage and a spot to do some office work, so I turned to a design program, played around with ideas, and created a custom piece for our living room. It was a fairly simple DIY project, but it added both functionality and a modern touch to the house, turning an ordinary space into something practical and stylish.
