Hey, I'm Max..

a proud father of three energetic kids, husband to a wonderful and supportive wife, and dog dad to three doodles who keep life interesting. I’m a hands-on kind of guy who’s always been drawn to building, fixing, and creating. Whether it’s tackling a home improvement project, designing a new space, or figuring out how to bring a vision to life, I’ve always found joy in working with my hands and seeing the results take shape. I’m also a veteran, with over 18 years of experience in logistics and operations management — leading teams, coordinating equipment, and navigating high-pressure situations with precision and accountability. I’m also the proud founder of Matam Solutions, where I’ve combined my passion for construction with my background in planning and leadership.

Over the years, I completed several renovation projects on my own, gaining hands-on experience in residential construction. That journey eventually led to one of my biggest and most rewarding personal challenges: designing and building two off-grid cabins from the ground up. It was during that project that everything came full circle — my background in logistics, planning, and problem-solving became the foundation for navigating every step of the build. I realized how much I enjoyed managing every detail and how natural it felt to bring structure and efficiency to even the most complex jobs. That’s when I knew I had found my calling.
